Afternoon Everyone!
I just wanted to remind you that Sunday is coming! And the family has saved you a place! If you have not attended for the last few weeks, we sure have missed you! It’s never the same when we are not together – every one of us! Sunday might be the perfect time to come back. It is Transfiguration Sunday ……. and we all get to ponder together the mystery of Jesus on the mountaintop shining like lightening (Luke 9:28-43). And we will ask the question, does this kind of lightening thing still happen? And, if so, has it happened to us????? You might be surprised!
I want to thank all of you who took part in our Spiritual Gifts class last month. I think we all came away knowing a little more about ourselves and trusting God a little more deeply to lead us into how we can share those gifts with the church. We will be having more studies this year, some held in a different time slot for those who were not able to join us after church. If you have a special request for a spiritual growth study, please let me know!
I want you all to know what is going on, so I’ve attached all our announcements in the “SUNDAY’S COMIN’!!!!!!” section, under the [RESOURCES] Menu on our website (You must input a password). Take a look so you will know what’s going on as winter slowing turns into spring. Epiphany is ending and Lent beginning this month. You will notice a change in the look of the sanctuary next week as well as the services focusing in on Jesus’ walk to Jerusalem and the cross. Please note too that we will be doing a Lenten Mission Project to support Murphy Harpst during Lent. You will get all the information soon!
And finally……………………….
